Regular price $15.00 Sale

•These masks have a silicone cord lock on each elastic ear loop. The cord lock sits behind the ear and slides along the elastic to shorten or lengthen the loop, which allows you to adjust the size of the mask. Some people may achieve the best fit by removing the silicone slider. (Please see picture for instructions on replacing a cord lock that has come off the elastic.)

•These cloth masks are make of cotton and cotton/poly blend fabric, are are machine washable, and can be tumble dried on low.

•Each mask has a wire tie sewn into the bridge of the nose to help them fit close to the face. (Please avoid ironing over this portion of the mask if you choose to iron after washing.)

•These masks will fit an average sized adult. The cloth portion of the mask is sized generously to allow for a filter pocket, so although the ear elastics are adjustable, this may be large on children or very petite adults.

•Although this style of mask has a pocket for a filter on one side, it is still reversible.  (Two contrasting fabrics are used to make it easy to identify which side of the mask was toward your face.)

•PLEASE NOTE: Filters are NOT INCLUDED. This article has a good breakdown of the efficacy of various filter materials:

•Please note that I cannot guarantee that the elastic I use is latex-free, so if you have a latex allergy, please buy a mask with ties rather than elastic.

A PORTION OF THE PROCEEDS FROM THE SALE OF THESE MASKS WILL BE USED TO SUPPORT MY EFFORT TO SEW AND DONATE MASK TO VARIOUS HEALTH CENTERS AND NON-PROFITS.

•The CDC recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain as well as to help asymptomatic carriers from transmitting it to others.

•The cloth face coverings recommended are not surgical masks or N-95 respirators.  Those are critical supplies that must continue to be reserved for healthcare workers and other medical first responders, as recommended by current CDC guidance.

•PLEASE NOTE: Cloth face coverings should not be placed on children under 2 years or anyone who has trouble breathing or is otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance.
